LTV in One-to-One Fundraising – our award-winning work with The Children’s Society

LTV (or Lifetime Value) analysis will be a familiar approach to assessing future potential value for regular giving audiences. However, for many charities, that’s only part of the story. The Children’s Society generates significant revenues across a wide range of audiences beyond individuals, and they wanted to find an approach that allowed them to adapt LTV to these markets – and for the resulting models to be used with ease by internal staff. This case study shows how Wood for Trees addressed the issues and came up with a successful solution – one that won ‘Most Powerful Use of Insight In One-to-One Fundraising’ at the 2018 IoF Insight in Fundraising Awards.
