Wood for Trees is taking a leading role in the sponsorship of Fundraising Week, along with a workshop to boost charity professionals’ awareness of the power of their data.

Fundraising Week 2017, 22-26th May 2017, is the key annual fundraising conference in the charity professionals’ calendar. As well as sponsorship for the conference, J Cromack, CEO of Wood for Trees, will be running a workshop on the challenges facing the charity sector with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) coming into force in May 2018.

Using his wealth of knowledge and experience in data driven fundraising, J Cromack will take delegates through crucial steps ahead of the GDPR, from an overview of the requirements and the importance of data protection, to how to audit existing data for consent and permissions.

J will also outline how the Consentric Platform can achieve informed insight from informed consent, redefining the relationship between individuals and organisations.

J comments: “We’re really excited to be sponsoring Fundraising Week and supporting the sector’s professionals to meet the GDPR with confidence, while maximising opportunity.”

“By also demonstrating the power of Consentric, we’ll be able to share our mission for rethinking personal data to deliver change, placing individual consent at the heart and realising the meaning, value and power of data.”

Consentric will also have a stand at the show – if you’re planning to be there, do come along and visit us! If you’d like to know more about Consentric right now, visit this page on our website.
